Crossing Lines Activity

The bounder for north Cyprus runs horizontally though the middle of the country of Cyprus witch is located in the Mediterranean sea Cyprus off the south coast of turkey. The Arabian Gulf Union is the merge of the countries of Saudi Arabia, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait. All of these countries are located in the middle east the Arabian sea is to the South East of them.

The Northern part of Cyprus a  centrifugal force is what is splitting it. The only outside precondition it has is Turkey it is recognized as a Republic of Northern Cyprus. Cyprus wants to leave the southern half to go and become a part of turkey. The Arabian Gulf Union they are united by centripetal forces. They will take place because they are already are working on goals with there economy, strengthening  ties with there people, military and science.

For the map on North Cyprus they are cultural boundaries for part of the country that does not want to join turkey and the other half that does. I based them on the geometric boundaries that are already in place in the country. In the map of the Arabian Gulf Union I used geometric boundaries of the six country s that are apart of it the countries are coming together because they want to unite to make some thing better then they can be being separated. I helped base them on a layer I applied to the map of the outline of the countries.

The splitting of North Cyprus will be a positive economic move for turkey but has cost them with military support and economic support to North Cyprus during the separation. The Arabian Gulf Union came together just as a group of nations to try to get more accomplished and the up side for the surrounding nations is that they will probity get more trade in and out of there it just being on large nation.
